For many jet setters THE CARNIVALE is held in Venice from February 11th through February 21st. Of course not all events are musical but many are. You won't find much free here. Malcesine is a small town on beautiful Lake Garda in the Veneto region of northern Italy. This is a summer and a winter resort but I'm sure you'll love spring here as well. Mestre Veneto Italy
You probably haven’t heard of Mestre, Veneto but I won’t say the same for the smaller city just across the bridge, Venice. From June 9 to June 11 Mestre hosts the Heineken Jammin Rock Festival that should attract 100,000 youth and perhaps a few geezers. Come early or leave late to enjoy that town next door.
