Lombardy Concerts And Music Festivals

Let's enjoy the Italian Musical Experience in Lombardy...

Brescia is a city at the foot of the Alps in the Lombardy region of Italy. Bergamo is a medieval walled city. They both have lovely old towns worth visiting. During the month of May and June they jointly host the Festival Pianistico Internazionale di Brescia E Bergamo with concerts almost every night. Many of the concerts are given in one town and repeated in the other on the following evening. For more information consult the Italian language site http://www.turismobrescia.it/it/eventi The English icon didn't work for me the last time I tried.

Milan is the capital of the northern Lombardy region. More than that itís Italyís business and fashion capital. From June 21 to June 24, 2012 it hosts the Gods of Metal concert, quite a business, which promises to be quite a fashion show. You'll get a chance to hear Guns and Roses, Motley Crue and many others. For more information consult http://www.godsofmetal.it/en/programma.php.

From July 5 to 7, 2012 Milan, Lombardy hosts the Heineken Jammin Rock Festival that should attract 100,000 youth and perhaps a few geezers. Come early or leave late to enjoy Europe's fashion capital. For more information consult http://www.carnifest.com/carnivals/Heineken-Jammin-Festival.asp.
