Trieste is the multilingual, multicultural of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy. It makes for a different, exciting tourist destination. From July 12 to July 31 it hosts the Festival International Operetta - Trieste Operetta. Some of the performances are held in the San Giusto Castle, others in the Theatro Verdi.
