February Music Festivals And Concerts

Let's enjoy the Italian Musical Experience this February...

Liguria is the Italian Riviera. The numerous cities and towns are just brimming with musical activities during the month of February. For more information consult http://liguria.angloinfo.com/whatson/select/4-5-0/live-music/music-classical-and-opera/on-the-italian-riviera/from-today.

The lovely city of San Remo, Liguria is a major tourist destination on the Italian Riviera. The Sanremo Music Festival is Europe's oldest music fesival, starting in 1951. This is the place where many of Italy's top pop music performers made their name. It will run from February 12 to February 15, 2013. I can't think of a better place to celebrate Valentine's Day. Carnevale (also known as Carnival) is a great experience, especially in Italy. Check out our special section at http://www.travelitalytravel.com/Italian_carnivale_season.php . For many jet setters THE CARNIVALE is held in Venice on February 12th, but related events run from February 1st through February 14th. Of course not all events are musical but many are. You won't find much free here. Even if you have no intention of going, you really should check out the following site to see some fabulous masks : http://www.venice-carnival-italy.com.

Of course Rome manages to provide some fine musical experiences during February. It hosts the Controtempo - Contemporary Music Festival in the Villa Medici from February 9 to February 13.
