December Music Festivals And Concerts

Let's enjoy the Italian Musical Experience this December...

Are you familiar with Klezmer music? It is or was traditional music of Eastern European Jews popular at weddings and other celebrations way back when. This foot-tapping (and more) has undergone major revival. If you are in Milan you should check out the Klezmatics on December 4th. For more information consult http://klezmatics.com/category/events/ .

Perhaps you are more into Gospel music. The Umbria Gospel Festival kicks off with a FREE concert January 1 (this festival started on December 8) at the Chiesa de Santa Maria Assunta in the beautiful hilltop Umbrian town of Paciano not far from Perugia. For more information consult http://www.trasimenoblues.it/calendario.php . Keep coming back to their website as its home page promises that the Festival will run until January 1st. I won't promise you that all concerts are free.
