For many people Via Veneto is the center of Rome, if not the center of the world. This fabulous street was immortalized in Fellini’s famous La Dolce Vita (the sweet life). When you have finished shopping, people watching, eating, drinking, and simply enjoying La Dolce Vita on the Via Veneto you may choose to visit several tourist sights in this upscale neighborhood. Don’t miss the Seventeenth Century Palazzo Barberini now home to the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Antica (National Gallery of Ancient Art) and the Neoclassical Palazzo Margherita, which hosts the American Embassy.
