Let's find a Aurelio, Rome luxury hotel.
The Aurelio district is an extensive, quiet area located in southwestern Rome. This district is named for the historic Via Aurelia, which was the main artery connecting Rome with Spain. Aurelio hosts the lovely Villa Pamphili park whose centerpiece is a Seventeenth Century country house decorated with statues and low-relief sculptures. Another highlight is the San Pancrazio church built by Pope Simmaco about fifteen hundred years ago to honor the martyr Pancratio. The Vatican Walls were built around the same time to help defend the Vatican. Make sure to see Porta Pertusa and Porta Fabbrica. Via Piccolomini provides a splendid view of St. Peter’s Dome. For your convenience we have listed neighborhood hotels in approximate order of cost, starting with the least expensive. We have personally verified all website addresses making sure that they include English-language pages.
